Ari is a slow-flow, sensory-aware yoga teacher, community advocate, and communications strategist specializing in grounding, emotional regulation, and restorative movement. She approaches wellness not as an aesthetic or a performance, but as personal and collective liberation.
Her journey with somatic movement began in high school, where she was first introduced to yoga through an elective taught by the school's dance teacher. Throughout her time at Hofstra University, where she earned her Master's in Journalism, Ari continued practicing yoga alongside a close friend as a way to keep moving, stay centered and navigate the pressures of higher education.
After completing graduate school, Ari turned to pole fitness as a pathway to build her confidence, explore embodiment and relieve stress. Immersing herself in the practice consistently for a year and a half, she found a home at Celestial Movement Studios in North Wales. Today, she proudly bridges both worlds at the studio as a dedicated pole student and a resident yoga teacher.
Ari's extensive background in trauma-informed wellness, public relations, marketing and community-rooted storytelling allows her to design sensory sanctuary experiences that meet people exactly where they are.
Her teaching style is intuitive, calm, and deeply affirming. Driven by a mission to remove the emotional, structural, and economic barriers to wellness, Ari is dedicated to creating safe and soft landings. Through musical flows, intentional stillness, and sensory care, she helps individuals quiet the noise, soothe their nervous systems, and dive deeply into themselves to REST. RESTORE. RISE.
“Creating a sanctuary is about more than just dimming the lights. It’s about removing the structural and emotional barriers that prevent marginalized communities from living their best soft, safe, and self-determined lives. That’s why you are never required or expected to move your body in a certain way. This space is simply an invitation for you to have a conversation with you on the mat.”
